Jet got free tickets from his co-worker so he decided to bring Tonicci along. Perfect timing since he's so into cars right now and whenever we're on the road he would often ask "is that car fast or slow?" It was a perfect Saturday bonding for father and son.

Skating- with his Instructor
We thought of ice skating lessons for Tonicci just this February (even though the rinks were open as early as November). Unfortunately, it's been raining a lot and the rink that we go to will be closing at the end of the month. So, we were able to schedule only one lesson with Thomas, his skating instructor. Oh well, next winter we really have to start early.

Fantasy Fair
Last Monday, Torontonians celebrated Family Day. We decided to take Tonicci to Fantasy Fair, an indoor playground. It was crazy busy but well worth it since Tonicci loved all the rides :)
The Model Railroad Club of Toronto
The Model Railroad Club of Toronto is
one of North America’s premier O-scale clubs. Founded
in 1938, the Club is now in its 73nd year. The Club’s goal has been, using the varied creative talents
of all its members, the construction and operation of a miniature railway system
that re-creates the feel of a late 1950’s railroad.
Being a train fanatic, we made sure that Tonicci gets to visit and explore this place. Sure enough, he and his Dad stayed for almost 2 hours where he viewed in awe at the beauty of the craftsmanship. It truly was a work of art!

Skating
Anna and I don't know how to ice skate, but we thought it'd be good for Tonicci to learn how (like most kids who grow up here). He did really well for a first timer- he was brave and didn't mind falling down countless times. When he wasn't on ice, he could balance on the blades really well. We think that with more practice and some professional help - he'll be gliding around the rink very soon.

Movies
Tonicci is at that age where he can sit down for a two hour movie. The first film that he really enjoyed was The Polar Express. It's a wonderful Christmas movie. Recently he watched Toy Story, Cars and Finding Nemo- all of which managed to hold his attention for longer than usual.
Winter activities
For the winter session we enrolled Tonicci in Gymnastics class and Pre-school discovery (art class). The centre where his classes are held is a 15-minute walk from our place and he goes after school. During our walks, he would talk about everything under the sun and often ask me all sorts of questions curious 4 year olds would tend to ask. It's my favorite bonding time with Tonicci!

We stumbled upon this video of Tonicci when he was 2 years old. Good times indeed.
