Last Monday, Canadians celebrated Victoria Day in honor of Queen Victoria. Since it was a public holiday, we decided to go to Lakeshore so Tonicci can ride his bike and have a picnic (his favorite activity)!

Victoria Day
Circus at Harbourfront
Jet and Tonicci went to Harbourfront to experience the magic of the circus :) There were world-class acrobats, blazing fire-masters, stilt walkers, jugglers, award-winning balloon sculptors, side-splitting comedy, the Natrel Fearless Fun Zone, plus tons of courage-inspiring interactive activities. What's even more awesome is the fact that it's all Free!

Evergreen Brickworks
Evergreen Brick Works is a community environmental centre that inspires and equips visitors to live, work and play more sustainably. Here, you can find a farmers market, a kids section (current exhibit was about Energy Conservation), bike and hiking trails, a fish pond and beautiful greenery.

Mother's Day Picnic Celebration
We've always wanted to go to High Park to see the cherry blossoms. Last Mother's day, we decided to pack some snacks and a picnic blanket to take advantage of the beautiful weather and have a relaxing Mother's Day celebration there. The cherry blossoms are so beautiful! Tonicci loved seeing the ducks and chicks, exploring the High Park Zoo, rolling down on the hill, playing his video games, having a picnic on the grass, and taking pictures of his dad and me :)
