Tonicci and I are very fond of Vicki and her son Oliver! Vicki is a good friend of mine. She and I bonded because our boys have the same type of personality.I feel like we both went through the same challenge of raising boys who are soooo strong-willed and very active. Tonicci is a year and a half older than Oliver, and so she's pretty much going through the same situations I've already experienced. We try our best to encourage and offer support to one another.
With no help at all and dealing with frequent meltdowns (it was worse when Tonicci was younger), it's a relief to find a true, good friend you can count on when you are just about ready to burst (and we have!) :)

Since the boys have a bit of an age gap, it was harder to have play dates in the past. Those encounters would often result in Oliver hitting Tonicci - with Tonicci hitting back or crying to the point where he would ask to go home. It was quite a challenge because their interests would be so different.
Now that Oliver is older, they almost share the same wavelength! Oliver is almost 3 years old and Tonicci is 4. They play so nicely compared to before. Sometimes there would still be a few hiccups along the way. But what's a play date without some kind of drama from the kiddos!
