For the fall session Tonicci wanted to join gymnastics and dance class for boys. Wasn't able to take pictures yet of Tonicci in gymanastics but I was able to do so in his dance class.

Whittamores Farm

We picked the worst day to go pumpkin picking. The weather forecast said that it was going to rain but we decided to ignore it. It was sunny when we woke up, until we left the house.

Bad idea, as soon as we stepped out of the car,it started to pour. We decided to go through anyway ignoring the strong wind and cold. It wasn't a wise choice-we didn't even get a chance to touch the pumpkins in the field since the weather was that terrible. Good thing there was a farmers market where we decided to take shelter. We ended up shopping for pastries and some produce. Eveything is grown on their farm and the pastries were baked fresh everyday. Luckily they also had some pumpkins on display so Tonicci was quite satisfied. I on the other hand, took advantage by taking pictures.

We promised Tonicci we would go back next week to pick our pumpkin. He's so excited to carve it with his daddy. Hopefully we get lucky next time.

rain just started to fall

might not be obvious but it was freezing!

pumpkins!!! we can't even go near them

he contented himself with a pumpkin chocolate stick

photo taken by tonicci-he was so bored while waiting for the rain to stop so he decided to take picture

First Formal School

Time really flies so fast. Tonicci started Junior Kindergarden  last September at St. Mary's Catholic School. It's a 10 minute walk from where we live and he goes for 2 1/2 hours. We're happy that there was no tantrum/crying on his first day. We kept on talking to him about school weeks before it even started. We also showed him the route we planned on taking every morning to get there, which we think helped his transition. The big adjustment was his wake up time. He has to be awake by 7:30 am to make it on time for his 8:30 class- the reason that he's now in bed by 7pm.

Luckily, his Mama Elsie and Papa Serge were able to see and visit St.Mary's during their stay with us. They brought  him there every morning, and then picked him up before noon. This was during their entire visit here in Toronto.

He's very happy in his new school and said that he loves it more than daycare. We as parents only wish for him to make lots of new friends, explore and just have fun.

Royal Ontario Museum

I wanted to take my parents to the Royal Ontario Museum since it's one of the most beautiful museums I've seen. Luckily, we didn't have to spend a cent to see it since admission is free every Wednesday afternoon. There are five floors and the museum is huge but we ended up staying at the second floor with exhibits mostly for children. Tonicci happily explored the whole area and he greatly enjoyed the activity center for kids. We on the other hand were just happy to tag along and follow him :)
