It was our first time to try an all-inclusive resort and we highly recommend it! Our family stayed for 7 days and 6 nights at El Cid beach hotel in Riviera Maya.
White sand beaches, clean swimming pool with a swim-up bar, all you can eat and drink from 4 different restaurants to choose from, a kids club (where you can leave your children), friendly and accommodating staff, the list goes on - it truly was a dream vacation.
We decided not to go on any excursions or tours since they were really pricey. Just as well, we were having a great time enjoying the amenities at the resort that we didn't feel the urge to venture out anymore. Tonicci had so much fun swimming (with his salvavida), drawing on the sand, playing with his frisbee and eating his ice cream cone after every meal. Jet on the other hand enjoyed the unlimited supply of alcoholic beverages- particularly their tequila :)
Unfortunately, Tonicci broke our camera on day 3 of our vacation :( Some of the pictures below are quite blurry since we had to resort to taking pictures using Jet's apple itouch - which takes poor quality photos.
