Daddy's Service Recognition Reception

We attended the service recognition reception and ceremony at Daddy's company for his 5 years of service with Via Rail. Tonicci finally got to meet a lot of  Daddy's co-workers including their President. We weren't able to stay long since he was already getting bored and there were no other kids to play with. Oh well at least we got to eat dinner.

Halloween

When we asked Tonicci what he wanted to wear for Halloween, he was initially confused with all the options but finally settled for Batman! I was so happy because I'd be able to finally put him in a nice Halloween costume complete with face mask! Moreover, I was secretly happy because he didn't choose Thomas :)

When we were looking to buy a Batman costume, we couldn't find any that would fit him. We found one in a fancy costume store but the price was ridiculously expensive! We didn't want to spend a lot of money for something that he would only wear once or twice. We were pushing for other costumes but he was decided on Batman. He was mad at us for all the other costumes we were insisting that he try on. Finally, I found on the SALE rack a James costume (from Thomas and friends). How could he say NO? It's his favorite train after all.

Trick or treating was so much fun for Tonicci since he loves candies and chocolates- I think we got months worth of treats. It was a memorable Halloween for him since we think that he had a better appreciation of the idea and concept behind it.

Jack-0-Lantern

Jet and Tonicci made a jack-o-lantern out of the pumpkin we picked out at the farm. Tonicci intently watched while his daddy worked. He was happy to assist and even happier when he saw the final product. Good job daddy!

Whittamores Farm Take 2

The second time we went to Whittamores Farm, the weather was finally cooperating. It was cold but at least it was sunny. This time around we were able to pick out our pumpkin. We decided to get something small since we really don't need a big one.

Tonicci was grumpy at the beginning since we woke him up from his nap but when he saw the bouncy castle and the big orange pumpkins, he finally decided to be nice to us again :)

Cruise

Last September we went on a cruise together with Papa Serge and Mama Elsie. We boarded the ship from New York and sailed to Boston, Portland, St. John and Halifax. Tonicci had a great time bonding with all of us. It was 7 days of non-stop eating and activities! Overall it was a great experience but I think on the 6th day of our vacation Tonicci asked if we can go back to Toronto. Oh well.
