Our New Neighborhood Park

After dinner, we decided to go for a walk around our neighbourhood. It's so nice to know that there's a park  and splash pad area just around the corner from our house. It's very important for us to bring Tonicci out since he has so much energy to burn off! It will also be a nice place to bring our baby girl when she comes out.

Food

Since Papa got here, we've been eating out more often in restaurants. Jet also purchased a grill (his dream appliance). We've been using it almost every night and having "deck parties" - as Tonicci would call them.

Bunk bed

Mama and Papa bought Tonicci a bunk bed as their housewarming present for him. Jet and Papa spent 3 hours putting it together- since they refuse to pay $100 for labor.

Tonicci's wish of owning a bunk bed finally came true :)

it was quite tricky to assemble the bed

Beaches

We decided to take a break from our house chores and go to the nearby beach to take advantage of the beautiful spring weather. Winter season was too long and cold so it felt nice to go out and enjoy the warmth and sunshine again.

Jet is smiling but he's in a lot of pain from his marathon that morning

Congratulations Daddy!

Tonicci is so proud of his daddy! He did the 42k marathon and was able to finish in 4 hours and 45 minutes. We were not able to meet him at the finish line because he left the house at 6am and brought the car with him. Nevertheless, we are so happy and proud that he made it!

On October, we are planning to sign up Tonicci for his first 1k marathon for children. He said he really wants to run too!

Soccer

We recently attended the fitness program in Tonicci's school. He decided to join the soccer program. There was also Zumba and Karate. He was not able to score a goal but he had fun playing with his friends!

Papa Serge

It's been so hectic for the past few weeks because of our move. Packing, cleaning up the new house, painting, unpacking and organizing everything- I don't know how we did it all but we managed somehow. Thank God for people like Kuya Robin (who helped move all our boxes from the storage to our new place) and Vanessa (who helped assemble our bed, dining table, etc).

We don't know how we would have survived without my dad though. He has been the best helper throughout! Assisting me with all the lifting, assembling things we bought, painting our bathroom, doing all the tasks we ask him and driving Tonicci to school everyday (since we live 20 min away now from his school).

We are just so grateful that he's here with us. Super tired but thankful.
