Santa Claus Parade

Tonicci has been going to the Santa Claus Parade since 2009. We'd always just go as a family - but this time around, we went with our friends. It was more fun for Tonicci and he was not easily bored while waiting for the parade to start since he had the twin girls to talk to and laugh with. We got a very good  spot this year - as the kids were seated at the very front. The only downside was that the parade took so long to get to where we were, so us grown-ups had to stand up for 3 1/2 hours under the cold and somewhat windy weather! Oh well, it's all for the kids :)

School Conference

We had a parent-teacher conference last Thursday. Mr. Ferreira (Tonicci's kindergarden teacher) told me that I shouldn't even been there since there was nothing to say or improve regarding Tonicci's performance as he considers him his top student! I am such a proud mom! Socially, he is also improving a lot. He started the school year quite shy and always clinging to only two of his friends (Mayon and Cameron). Now, he is getting along well with lots of other kids. He participates and raises his hands whenever he wants to answer a question or have something to say. He also helps the younger kids with their writing.

Oh Tonicci, we are so happy and so proud of you! :)

Story time with Santa Claus

We brought Tonicci to Sherway Gardens Mall to meet Santa Claus for some story time and picture taking. It's our first time to take him to this particular event. For only $7, it was well worth it. Santa was so accomodating, funny and engaging. He made the kids feel important by talking to each one of them during picture time! Tonicci told Santa what he wanted for Christmas and gave him a big hug afterwards :)

Student of the Month

We are so proud of you love! Student of the month for September 2012. The theme is hospitality. I wonder what you did to deserve this award? You have come a long way my precious boy! :)

Halloween

At school, the kids were allowed to wear their halloween costumes. I've never seen Tonicci soooo happy and excited to go to school!

That night, even though it was raining a little, we took Tonicci trick or treating in our neighborhood. He was with his friends Oliver and Coco.We also bumped into some of his school mates and other friends. Tonicci had a blast! He was so happy going door to door and collecting LOTS of treats :)
